Graeme Cocks

Associate Professor of Operations

Graeme Cocks joined Melbourne Business School in 2005 as an Associate Professor of Operations.

Upon completing his PhD in Materials Science and Management at the University of Melbourne, Graeme held senior management positions at Drake International, Australian Quality Council and was the CEO of Technology Transfer Council, responsible for the introduction of just-in-time systems and value-adding management concepts into more than 200 Australian organisations.

Alongside his academic and corporate careers, Graeme has also consulted for Imperial Chemical Industries in the UK, Telstra in Australia, Olin Corporation in the US and Westinghouse in Canada.

Graeme has published more than 50 articles in international scientific and management journals and presented over 100 conference papers and lectures on management practices and process management.

Graeme teaches Project Management on the MBA programs and Strategy Execution and the World of Engineering Management in the Master of Engineering (with Business) at the University of Melbourne.
