IT IS OBVIOUS WE AE DESCENDED FROM APES

No need to spend much time on this one. Why is it obvious? The answer is goose bumps. Every time you get goose bumps your body is trying to fluff up your fur to create a layer of air that will keep you warm. Fluffing up fur that we no longer have! But your brain still remembers that 2000 generations ago you were a chimp.

That’s pretty much the whole argument really. I could have mentioned the tail like features of our lumbar region, or the 95% common DNA we have with chimps. But I prefer the fur argument for simple impact. There are dozens of other vestigial features of the human body that defy intelligent design – unless the intelligent designer was deliberately trying to make us look like we were descended from apes. And why the hell would he do that?

So the next time some clown suggests that “intelligent design” should be included in the school curriculum, ask him why God gave us goose bumps.
