Employment statistics for full-time MBA class of 2007
MBS Career Centre's annual employment survey of full-time MBA graduates consistently shows a high level of post-MBA employment, a significant rise in salary and a notable shift from first-line management to middle and senior management roles upon graduation.
These results underline Melbourne Business School’s excellent reputation amongst employers.
In the latest survey, information was collected on 94% of the MBA graduating class of 2007. Melbourne Business School adheres to the standards and reporting guidelines of the MBA Career Services Council.
Highlights from the full-time MBA Class of 2007 survey include:
- Average starting salary remuneration package is $126,075 AUD - a 26% increase on the average pre-MBA package
- Average starting base salary is $105,211 AUD - a 26% increase on the average pre-MBA base salary
- Nearly two-thirds (64%) of graduates seeking employment had received a job offer before graduation
- 97.5% of graduates are either employed (91%) or received job offers (4%)
