Faculty staff profile

Richard Parker specialises in financial management both as an educator and consultant. He created, and is the Program Leader of the executive education programs Finance in Five Days and Strategic Finance for Executives and the Mergers and Acquisitions Program. Richard's presenting expertise is multi-dimensional and includes teaching in the MBA program at Melbourne Business School.

He teaches broadly in the area of corporate financial management, however his specific interests are in helping executives understand the links between business strategy and financial performance.

Richard makes extensive use of narratives, models and also visual images to help managers understand finance concepts and to make connections between specific elements of financial management theory.
