Marc Stigter

Marc has combined an international management career as a practising commercial executive with an international academic journey for the last 15 years.

He worked at Royal Dutch Shell holding international executive positions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and was responsible for the overall integration and divestment of Shell's acquired Pennzoil operations in 15 countries within Asia Pacific.

Prior to this, Marc was the Country Chairman and Managing Director transforming Shell's loss making JV operations in Yemen, and a Senior Management Consultant for Shell in Asia Pacific and the UK. He has also worked for Lloyds TSB Bank (UK), Stanley Tools (UK) and Metropolitan Life (USA).

In early 2005, Marc joined Melbourne Business School as a Program Director for Mt Eliza executive education where he directs the flagship executive development program for senior managers, the Advanced Management Program.  He is also responsible for the executive development of various corporate, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.

Marc is currently completing his doctoral study in Critical Management at Lancaster University (UK). He was the recipient of the prestigious 2006 Future Summit Leadership Award as presented by the Australian Davos Connection, Australia's pre-eminent leadership organisation.

Marc is the founder and managing partner of a boutique consulting firm specialising in strategy development, alignment and implementation.
