Jennifer George

Associate Professor
Jenny George is an academic and consultant with considerable experience in both teaching and administration within a university setting.
Jenny’s research interests focus on the application of principal-agent economic frameworks to traditional operations models . She completed her PhD at Stanford on Queuing Theory and the problem of a queue with an adjustable service rate.
Jenny has worked as a consultant to firms including Honeywell and WMC Ltd, advising on complex data interpretation and application.
Jenny is highly involved in university administration, and sits on a range of MBS committees including the Academic Planning and Development Committee and the Curriculum Advisory Committee. She was recently awarded a 2002 Universitas 21 Fellowship from the University of Melbourne.
