Faculty staff profile

David Trende is a business consultant specialising in accounting, taxation and business strategy and planning. At Melbourne Business School, he teaches accounting and financial statement analysis in award programs. He also delivers extensively in executive development programs both at MBS and on behalf of several leading corporates.

Prior to joining MBS, David worked and researched at Monash University, where he taught a range of subjects in financial accounting and income tax law to both undergraduate and graduate students .

David is a partner with Lewis Trende, a boutique management consulting company whose activities include accounting, taxation, damages assessment, corporate advisory services, business strategy and planning, venture capital promotion and commercialising biotechnology ventures. David is also currently a director of a number of private investment companies.
