Ning Gong is a highly qualified and experienced academic and consultant who has worked across both academic and corporate environments.

Ning's research interests span regulations and legal environments of capital markets, as well as general financial economics. He has completed several major research projects, exploring issues including shareholder risk preference, the underpricing of IPOs in Australia and the volatility of financial markets.

Working across Australia and the USA, Ning has taught in institutions including Washington University, the Australian Graduate School of Management and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Ning's work has appeared in a number of academic financial journals, and his research papers received the best paper award at the Australian Journal of Management in both 2001 and 2004.

Ning has consulted both within Australia and overseas, applying his knowledge of financial auditing, modelling and investigation on behalf of clients including PricewaterhouseCoopers and NISA Investment Advisors.
