Mt Eliza Executive Education, part of Melbourne Business School, is the Asia Pacific’s number one provider of executive education programs to leading corporations in Australia and internationally (Financial Times UK 2010). Programs are delivered by a team of internal and contract educators: facilitators, academics, coaches and industry experts, known as the “Associate Network”. The Resource Manager, Associate Network:
- researches, identifies, assesses and recruits potential associates across Australia and overseas
- builds and maintains relationships with current and prospective associates
- uses internal databases and external networks to match associates with specific executive education programs
- works collaboratively with project teams, business development teams, program design teams and clients during the discovery and design phases of executive education projects
- takes a detailed project brief and sources or resources associates to meet client needs
- partners with associates and client teams during the project, contributing to evaluation and assessment of associate delivery, and continues to assess client requirements
- actively sources new associates through: attendance at academic and industry networking events and conferences, drawing on internal and external business and professional networks, and using new technology solutions
- leads evaluation panels and behavioral interviewing of potential associates
- leads best-practice associate selection and engagement strategies
Reporting to the Director of the Associate Network, and liaising with client facing teams, the Resource Manager will work in a busy, close-knit team environment to ensure that Mt Eliza Executive Education has a world-class stable of associates for current and future executive education interventions.
We are seeking a motivated, energetic and service-orientated individual with an affinity for learning and development for this role. Drawing on a track record of success (perhaps in HRM, OD, or executive recruitment/search), you will utilize your knowledge of cutting-edge leadership and management trends, your networking skills and your consulting expertise to identify, assess and match local and international talent with current and upcoming executive education projects. Negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills are also important.
To be successful, you will need excellent interpersonal skills, a focus on quality and internal service, a flair for networking, a global mindset, collaborative team skills, relationship management abilities, and the confidence and presence to influence at a senior level.
