The Accounting and Finance group at MBS conducts research on financial-related issues relevant to companies, investors, financial intermediaries and regulators. The two general areas of expertise are financial reporting and corporate finance.

Research covers a broad area including the effect of voluntary and mandated management disclosures, integrating economic and psychological perspectives on how accounting information affects the judgement and decisions of individuals, and investigating the volatility of financial markets.
