| The Case Catalogue currently has approximately 400 Australasian case studies listed in twelve separate subject categories. These cases are substantial applied research publications in their own right, and provide valuable teaching and learning resources. Most cases are based on actual situations and problems that have been encountered by Australian and New Zealand managers operating within both the private and public sectors. They are made available to other institutions, educators and researchers through the MCSS which is part of the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne.
The MCSS has distribution rights throughout the Asia Pacific region for all Harvard Business School case studies, Harvard Business Review Reprints and other Harvard teaching materials. In addition to the hundreds of new Harvard Business School case studies available for distribution, Harvard have recently added new sources of materials - The Stanford Graduate School of Business collection; London Business School collection, Ivey Business School collection, IESE collection; The Design Management Institute collection and The California Management Review collection.
MCSS has access to the European Case Clearing House (ECCH) and to Darden Business School (University of Virginia). ECCH includes the case collections from INSEAD, IMD, London Business School, Cranfield and other leading Schools in Europe.
CASE COPYING
All photocopying and printing of case material will be performed by the MCSS. Under no circumstances, may additional copies of cases, or parts thereof, be made without permission.

Notes on pricing:-
- The client will be charged for postage on multiple copy orders.
- Minimum order will be $12.50 for academic clients and $20.00 for private clients on multiple copies.
- Turnaround time on average from when order is taken until dispatch will be 3 working days or less.
- The academic price is only available to degree-granting institutions of higher learning.
Depositing cases with MCSS (usage benefit system)
For all those wishing to contribute cases to the MCSS, a usage benefit or royalty will be payable for each copy made of the case study. A $50.00 initial submission fee will be payable ($25.00 for teaching notes) and once 60 copies of a particular case have been distributed, a fee of 40c per copy distributed thereafter will be payable to the contributor. This usage benefit will be open to all institutions and individuals.
How to order cases
For each case required, please make a note of the case name, case number and the number of copies needed. Please then contact Mrs Mimm Larosa, the Administrator of the MCSS, and place the order with her. You may also write to the Administrator at the following address:
