The Consulting Club and Net Impact are bringing together some of our community's leaders for a debate on Milton Freidman's famous words "The corporate responsibility of public corporations is to increase profits for shareholders" (Milton Friedman, NY Times, 1970).

Confirmed speakers include:

  • For the Affirmative:  Tim Wilson, Director, Institute of Public Affairs, Terry McCrann, Associate Editor Business, Herald Sun. Chris Hibbard - Captain, Australian Adults' Debate Team; General Secretary, Debaters' Association of Victoria
  • For the negative: Dr Geoff Lewis, Professorial Fellow, Melbourne Business School, Dr Daniel Mulino, Senior Consultant, The Nous Group and Kenneth Davidson, Economics and Public Policy Journalist, The Age
