We are pleased to announce the historic HMS President (1918) as our venue for this year’s event. Moored on the Embankment next to Blackfriars Bridge this Anchusa class corvette of the Royal Navy was built in World War 1. The ship served as part of a small class of convoy protection ships built to look like merchant ships to attract and destroy German U boats. HMS President is listed on the National Register of Historic Vessels.
The HMS President boasts spectacular views of the river as well as some of London's most famous landmarks, including the London Eye, The South Bank Centre, The National Theatre, St Paul's Cathedral, and The Tate Modern.
