Checklist

Following is a checklist which may be useful in your preparations for coming to Melbourne Business School:

Clothing
Personal electric goods
Adapter plugs – Australia has 240 volts, AC 50 Hz cycle electricity.
Voltage converter if necessary
Optical spares – please note that optical check ups are not covered by your Overseas Student Health Cover
Documents – Passport, Visa, photocopies of the same, letter of offer from MBS, original copies of transcripts, evidence of education and work experience, birth certificate, drivers licence with translation if applicable, international driver’s permit, international credit cards, medical records, marriage certificate, letter of scholarship award, dependent’s records etc.

Accept your offer from Melbourne Business School
Pay your acceptance fee and first instalment of fees to the Admissions Office
Receive your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment and apply for and receive your visa
Book your air ticket and plan to arrive in Melbourne well in time to find accommodation and participate in Orientation Week
Make arrangements for temporary accommodation
Check to see what items you are allowed to bring into Australia, for more information please check Customs.
Make copies of important documents to leave at home
