Globalisation of Business
USA, Germany and China: 4 weeks
Globalisation is the most important phenomenon shaping the world economy. In this module, you'll develop a sound conceptual grasp of the implications for business of international shifts in production and consumption; the internationalisation of products and services and the development of global brands; and transfers of financial capital across national borders.
You'll be based at Chicago's Kellogg School of Management, where we build on the marketing, strategy and leadership material learned in Modules 1 and 2. The program at Kellogg focuses on developing senior executives into effective strategic leaders in a global economy.
In Germany and China, you'll learn first hand about the opportunities and challenges of international business. While at Germany's WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, you'll visit multinational businesses and meet leading executives.
The academic program in China, based in Beijing and Shanghai, is developed and delivered by Melbourne Business School faculty and includes guest speakers and company visits.
