Application process/apply now
The Masters of Marketing is delivered as a part-time program. The Master of Marketing may be undertaken on a full-time basis only as part of the joint degree MBA/Master of Marketing.
Part-Time Students – Entry via a Post Graduate Diploma Only
All applicants wishing to undertake their Marketing studies on a part time basis, must enter via the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Marketing), before requesting a transfer to a Masters of Marketing program.
When submitting an application for a Diploma program, if the School’s Selection Committee is confident that the applicant would cope with the academic rigor of the program, they will be offered admission to the Diploma without the need for a GMAT. (In a small number of cases, the Selection Committee may ask for the applicant to undertake the GMAT if they are not convinced that they have the academic ability to cope with the program).
Students undertaking the Diploma can then request a transfer to a Masters of Marketing program after completing a minimum of 6 subjects. There are several factors taken into consideration when the School assesses a request to transfer, however, in most cases if the student is achieving a minimum of a 70% average in subjects undertaken the transfer will be approved and students then transfer into a Masters program with full credit for subjects undertaken in the Diploma. Approximately 98% of all part time students at MBS transfer from one of the Diploma programs into a Masters program.
