Strategic Management of Intellectual Property

This subject will help managers to think about IP from a strategic perspective. You will examine the fundamental legal concepts surrounding
IP protection and exploitation; learn how to develop a program for assessing, capturing and monitoring IP; and understand how to integrate IP into business and strategic planning.

Organising for Innovation

Organisations have tremendous difficulty managing innovation. They persistently spend too much money and achieve poor results. This
subject examines why these difficulties arise, and helps you develop strategies not only for overcoming these difficulties, but also for
producing superlative innovation performance.

Managing New Ventures

Gain practical experience in the challenges of managing new ventures by working on real business projects within young companies. You
will learn how to develop business plans, financial forecasts and models for new businesses. You will also learn how to apply analysis tools
and methodologies commonly used in the management consulting industry.

Managing Biotechnology

You will be introduced to the science of biotechnology and its role in driving the products and markets of the future. The subject will then focus on the processes and skills required to develop biotechnology products and the organisations capable of bringing those products to market.
