The inaugural Gender Equality Workshop in April 2011 attended by our network of partners and associates identified the focus of the research program and its links to the training and development program. At its heart is a mission-based research program where all partners have signed up to an agreement to align their goals for research, training and innovation to a common mission; that is, to produce a significant and sustainable improvement in the gender balance in the leadership roles of participating organisations. The first research project for the GEP has been completed and will be launched on 8 May 2012. Titled "Targets and Quotas for Women in Leadership", the research is a review of global policy, practice and psychological research and is particularly relevant in light of the recent ASX changes in reporting requirements. An edited version of the report will be available here after the launch. Other research activities in the pipeline include Mainstreaming Flexibility, Resilience in the Workplace and Unconsious Bias.
