About Melbourne Business School's Net Impact Chapter
MBS is the home of Australia's first Net Impact chapter, which is one of only two in the nation. The MBS chapter was established in 2002 and is part of an international network of 120 student and professional chapters on 4 continents in 75 cities at 80 graduate schools.
Each spring MBS Net Impact presents an annual conference, organized and run by MBS students and held on the MBS campus, which addresses current trends and issues related to creating positive net social, environmental, and economic impacts in business. (For more information on the 2009 conference, please click HERE) .
Net Impact MBS deals with wide ranging issues such as corporate social responsibility, socially responsible financing, business sustainability, public private partnerships, business ethics, environmental operations management, corporate risk management and communicates through the annual sustainability conference, presentations from industry professionals, discussion forums, movie nights and networking events.
MBS - committed to a sustainable future.
