The 2008 Class Gift
In order to benefit future generations of MBS students and as a mark of our time here, we’d like to follow the lead of other graduating classes (and other leading Business Schools) by creating the 2008 Class Gift. Our proposal is to create a fund that will support a “2009 Keynote Speaker Series”.
The Keynote Speaker Series will:
- Offer 2-3 high profile Keynote Speakers in 2009
- Provide impact and relevance to MBS Student Clubs, giving them the opportunity to propose speakers and assist with organisation
- Source leading speakers from business or wider society that match the School’s brand positioning - GLOBAL. BUSINESS. LEADERS.
- Improve the integration of the three groups – Alumni, Full-Time and Part-Time students, impacting the entire MBS community
How much do we want to raise?
The aim of our Class Gift is to raise $15,000 by 31st December 2008, thereby allowing $5,000 for each event.
The Class Gift will be supported entirely by us - members of the Graduating Class of 2008. So if you’re a member of the Class, then please consider joining this great initiative. It will only work with your involvement.
