Support the MBS 2011 Annual Fund Appeal: Legacy
|
Breathing new life through legacy. MBS has built a proud and prestigious reputation as the leading business school in Australia and the Asia Pacific since its inception in 1954 as a Summer School in Business Administration at Melbourne University. This would not have occurred if it were not for the vision and foresight of the founding Board of Management in 1955 and the subsequent investment in the School by its Donor Members in the 1980s, which enabled MBS to build a permanent home here in Leicester Street. Historically the School’s success and growth has been driven by significant phases of innovation, investment and philanthropy. Each phase leaves a lasting legacy for the next generation, and in order for the School to continue its success, move with the times, and compete globally it now enters the next important phase of its evolution. For the School to continue its international rise and reputation, it requires the continued financial support of its Alumni, friends and partners to help carry forward the proud traditions and generosity of the generations that have gone before. Richard de Lautour (MBA 1966 and donor) explains why he continues to engage with MBS and why it’s important for the Alumni community to give to the School to further its success and growth. MBS is a certified deductible gift recipient, which means all gifts over $2 to the School are tax-deductible in Australia. |
