| | For five years the MBA is taught by the newly-employed faculty of the Monash Mt. Eliza Business School augmented by a small contingent of faculty and adjuncts from the Faculty of Economics, Monash. As well as Caulfield, the Monash Mt. Eliza Business School has centres in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai, New Zealand and Fiji At the end of the five year agreement, Mt. Eliza has to decide whether to be subsumed into Monash, who wanted to greatly expand their award course operation and to take greater control of the MBA, or to remain independent. The choice is obvious. It separates from Monash and maintains a proud record of providing first-class executive education to Australian businesses. The board feels it is important to maintain a presence in the MBA market. An agreement is forged with the University of Queensland to confer the degree and provide extra faculty. |
