	MBS Alumni Volunteering After completing an MBA, many people have new stores of time and energy to invest into not-for-profit work - and one organisation that typically apppeals to those with an entreprenurial or business focused spirit is Room to Read.
	Exec Compensation & Risk Behaviour Assistant Professor Geoff Martin (MBA 2002), talks about why executive compensation has attracted a lot of attention in the press since the beginning of the financial crisis. Various prominent public figures have attributed the crisis to careless risk taking incentivised by short term incentives.
	Dr Evans Awarded Fulbright MBS Research Fellow, Dr Michelle Evans, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in North America on indigenous leadership in the arts.

Kannan Sethuraman is an experienced consultant, researcher and teacher who specialises in technology and opertions management.

Prior to joining Melbourne Business School, Kannan held academic positions at the University of Michigan Business School at Ann Arbor, and at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. A highly respected teacher and facilitator, Kannan has been recognised with multiple teaching awards both here and overseas.

Kannan's fields of interest and expertise include application of operations management principles in the healthcare industry, transfer of lean manufacturing practices to the service sector, and supply chain management.

Kannan's research publications have appeared in reputed international journals such as Management Science, European Journal of Operational Research, and the International Journal of Operations and Production Management. In addition, he has presented his work at conferences both in Australia and internationally.
